Wednesday Night Cupcakes and a Movie
Have you people seen Seed of Chucky?
This may well be the best movie I’ve seen all year. I watched it tonight while eating yesterday’s cupcakes.
The curtain opens on Glinda, a confused, gentle-souled doll whose one wish is to find his parents. The only clue to his identity is the “Made in Japan” tattoo on his arm, but he sets out nonetheless to find his mummy and daddy, sure that they can answer all of life’s many questions. He discovers Pa and Ma in Hollywood, where they are busy filming a movie about their murderous lives.
Chucky and his lover, Tiffany, are thrilled to be reunited with their Japanese-speaking son (who also has gender issues, but that’s a subplot, as are Jennifer Tilly’s breasts). But they are distraught upon discovering that their son has no taste for blood, and set out to show him the path of righteousness. This is really fine cinema, I tell you.
There’s also lots of doll-on-doll action if you’re into that kind of stuff, as well as a scene in which Chucky demonstrates how dolls pleasure themselves.
