The Moko in Moscow, Misunderstood

I was in Moscow for 25 hours last Thursday.

It was 25 hours of no one understanding me, not even in my shiny hotel. Everything took 4x longer to complete, and it seemed like no one spoke the international language of hand gestures.

Not that I speak a word of Russian, mind you. But still, I'm the visitor (and an American visitor at that!), they should cater to my needs.

And worst of all, no one looked like the kid on this chocolate bar:
